Black Pivot Cup and Bushings

The pivot cup is required to cushion the truck hanger against the truck base plate. Pivot cups can wear out due to the consistent rail-to-rail movement that riding a SmoothStar provides. Every new SmoothStar comes with a spare pivot cup. Riders should examine the condition of their pivot cups every few months to ensure the pivot cup hasn't worn away leaving bare metal. The bushings also need replacing also due to the rail-to-rail motion that is not as extreme on regular functioning skateboards.
